Origins of BASE Spirit
Founder and instructor of BASE Spirit, Polo began skydiving in France in 2010
Being very committed to his sport, he quickly became a tandem instructor in 2014 and a high-level athlete competing in canopy formation during seven years among the French national team. He won the national championships in 2017 and stepped 17 times onto podiums in first league national cups, winning 11 gold medals and got on 4 podiums in national championships. He took part in several national and world records. Until now he is still in demand to coach international teams.
He began BASE jumping self-taught in 2013
At the time, the lack of available information led him to think of all the technical aspects of his own progression. His experience as a skydiving instructor and competitor led him to a very disciplined and safety-oriented approach to the sport. Straight away, his passion for this wonderful activity was born. He tried multiple aspects of BASE jumping, traveled and jumped more and more, always looking for new exciting jumping spots. After 11 years in the sport, Polo has now more than 2900 BASE jumps under his belt performed in 30 different countries. He has opened numerous exit points all around the world and his hunger for new jumping spots remains very strong. Whether they are alpine jumps, low jumps or urban jumps, he has never stopped exploring and until now he still jumps with as much passion as when he began.

Although Polo was a qualified instructor and in the first place intended to teach skydiving, the ever-increasing requests for quality BASE jumping education led him to create BASE Spirit. With over 10 years of experience in teaching skydiving and BASE jumping, his profile very quickly proved to satisfy the needs of his students.
